Let’s talk about why Big Zhu wanted to write this story. Even though I did not write it well, I am still very happy that I finished writing it.
Big Zhu used to say that the inspiration for this story came from «Day of the Plane Accident». But the very first idea came from the Malaysian Airline accident that happened last year that made all of our hearts hurt. At the time, I wanted to write a story like this, that might there be a possibility where the victims of the airplane accident went to a parallel world and continued to live. That maybe there was a miracle of love, just like how Shi Jian brought her love with her there, and brought it back with her. Then the story slowly formed. The true beginning of this story is actually the second last chapter: a happily married architect’s wife and a legendary businessman had a plane accident…… The best ending for this kind of story is probably one where both had good fortune after suffering a lot.
An fantastical dream that lasted 10 years, all the love that is hidden deep inside, time knows all. This is the final feeling that I wanted to express in this work. Originally I really liked this story, all three main characters. The latter part…… Do you think Yi Pei was the male lead or the male side character? It is not important anymore. My story is already finished. If you asked me, I think so. In Shi Jian’s ten years of experience, Ye Jiacheng was the male lead in the “dream”, because he was the right person. Outside of the “dream”, the male lead is Yi Pei, because he and Shi Jian are brought together by fate because they both experienced this “fantastical dream”.
One is the right person, and one is the destined person.
I don’t know how to say it. I dug a hole, and I had to fill it even if I am on my knees. The novel is finished. The final feelings, comments, critiques all belong to you, so I will leave them to you all.
The road of writing this novel has always been bumpy. My state of mind had always been on the verge of collapse, and a lot of negative energy had appeared. In addition to my lack of writing ability, the novel hadn’t gone how I wanted it to. But after the novel was finished, Big Zhu discovered that they learned a lot from this novel, including recognizing when I am not satisfied, and issues in the novel.
